Finally, we have our dates and itinerary for another amazing trip to photograph the White Horses of the Camargue in 2012! So many have been waiting for the dates, but we wanted to make sure we had every detail worked out, including adding some new shoots that only The West… Redefined will have on it’s photo shoot calendar in the Camargue!
Next year, we have planned 8 shoots in all: 2 sunrise and 2 sunset shoots of horses running … 3 through water and the marshes, and the 4th through dust, which we have added. We will also do portraits of horses and their foals, and another stunning shoot of stallions battling in the marshes. One evening will be spent photographing the sunset with flamingo silhouettes… and also added, a morning shooting the medieval city of Aigues Mortes, a walled-city with moats, cobblestone streets, and ancient architecture.

Details:
Our hotel will be ideally located five or ten minutes away from our shoots in the quaint beach-side town of Saints Maries de la Mer, where you will find great seafood restaurants, shopping, churches and lots of photo ops. We will also be in walking distance from the hotel to town.
The price for this workshop is $4,250. A non-refundable deposit of $1,500 is required to hold your place.
We recommend travel insurance (very inexpensive) in case you have to cancel for any reason. More details will follow for those signing on. Final payment will be due February 10, 2012.
What is included:
• hotel accommodations based on double-occupancy
• single supplement price upon request
• breakfast daily
• transportation to and from shoots
• all photo shoots, including in-field instruction on camera settings, exposure etc.
• full day of post-production and farewell dinner.
What is not included: international air-fare.. lunches and dinners.. transportation from Marseille to Saint Maries de la Mer and back… horseback riding and optional activities.
